About RFN-NJ Farmer Network Tours: Come to learn and network with fellow farmers! RFN-NJ Farmer Network Tours are for RFN-NJ farmers interested in or using regenerative farm practices. Each farmer network tour will focus on a regenerative farm topic. The host will delve into their topic and how they implement regenerative practices into their operation. All guests must register and be members of RFN-NJ.

About the Farmer:

Elise is the owner and farmer at Haring Family farm in Kingwood, Nj. She has been farming alongside her husband since 2015. They pasture-raise laying hens, broilers, turkeys, pigs, grass-fed beef and two great farm kids.

Wildflower Farm is a 42 acre family owned farm that produces organically raised soy-free poultry, grass-fed lamb, and culturally significant vegetables and seed. Tomia MacQueen also teaches classes focused on promoting self and community sustainability in symbiosis with conservation and regenerative Agriculture. Tomia's tour will focus on seed saving and culturally significant crops.

About the Farmer:

Tomia is the owner of Wildflower Farm and produces organically raised pastured and free range poultry, lamb, and culturally significant vegetables and seeds with a unique focus on humane animal husbandry policies and conservation practices.

Tour Description:

Walking tour to see how poultry and beef cows work together. Eliminate synthetic fertilizer needs with poultry on pasture and rotational grazing of beef cows.
After the tour, anyone interested can stay for more discussion on the economics of the different enterprises.

About the Farmer:

John is the owner and operator of Lima Family Farms. He raises vegetables, beef, poultry, and pigs on 600 acres in Hillsborough, NJ.

Tour Description:

Kittatinny Mountain Farm grows Certified Organic Produce for CSA and farmers markets on 2 acres. They'll discuss some practices that they've implemented to reduce tillage, prevent erosion, and build the soil as well as the challenges that a vegetable farm with limited acreage faces when trying to use regenerative practices.

About the Farmer:

Danielle has owned and operated Kittatinny Mountain Farm in Wantage NJ since 2011. She and her husband cultivate Certified Organic vegetables, herbs, flowers and seedlings for a CSA and farmers markets.
